Natty Hatty, Inc. (“Natty Hatty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Natty Hatty Blog Platform at blog.nattyhatty.com (“Blog Platform”) to do the same.
This DMCA Policy explains how copyright owners may report alleged infringements and how users may submit counter-notifications.
Natty Hatty is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as a Service Provider under 17 U.S.C. §512.

Copyright owners may submit DMCA takedown notices to Natty Hatty’s designated DMCA Agent:

Natty Hatty is officially registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as a Service Provider.
3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on the Blog Platform, you may file a DMCA notice.
To be valid under 17 U.S.C. §512(c), your notice must include:
Your full legal name (or the name of the authorized agent)
Your contact information (email + address).
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
Identification of the specific location of the allegedly infringing content (URL + copy of the comment).
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is unauthorized.
A statement that your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, you are the copyright owner or authorized representative.
Your physical or electronic signature. Incomplete or invalid notices may be rejected.

4. What Happens After We Receive a Notice
Once a valid DMCA notice is received, Natty Hatty will:
Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
Notify the user who posted it
Provide the user an opportunity to submit a counter-notification
Retain a record of the complaint for compliance
Follow statutory timelines for content reinstatement or removal
Natty Hatty may remove repeat infringing accounts.
Because blog comments are limited in format, removal typically means deleting the comment.
5. Counter-Notification Process
If your comment was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was a mistake or constitutes fair use, you may submit a counter-notification to:

Your counter-notification must include:
Your name, physical address, and email address
Identification of the removed content and its prior location
A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for your location
Agreement to accept service of process from the original complainant
Your physical or electronic signature
6. What Happens After a Counter-Notification
If a valid counter-notification is received:
Natty Hatty will forward it to the original complainant
If a valid counter-notification is received:
Natty Hatty will forward it to the original complainant
The complainant has 10 business days to inform Natty Hatty they filed a lawsuit
If no lawsuit is filed, Natty Hatty may restore the removed content at its discretion
Natty Hatty is not obligated to restore content.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
To comply with the DMCA:
Users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may have commenting access limited or suspended
Severe or repeated offenses may lead to termination of Blog Platform access
Natty Hatty may also restrict the linked Natty Hatty Customer App account if the behavior poses broader risk
Natty Hatty evaluates repeat infringement on a case-by-case basis.

Copyright owners and users should consult legal counsel if needed.
9. Misuse of the DMCA Process
Submitting false or fraudulent DMCA notices or counter-notifications may result in:
Account suspension
Legal liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f)
Permanent loss of commenting privileges
Natty Hatty reserves the right to take appropriate action against misuse.
