Natty Hatty Blog Platform — Spam & Bot Prevention Policy

Effective Date: November 15, 2025

The Natty Hatty Blog Platform at blog.nattyhatty.com (“Blog Platform”) allows authenticated users to post comments using their Natty Hatty Customer App account.

To protect users — especially minors — Natty Hatty implements strict measures to detect, block, and remove spam, bots, automation, and malicious activity.

This Spam & Bot Prevention Policy (“Policy”) explains what is prohibited, how detection works, and what actions Natty Hatty may take.

Natty Hatty maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harmful automation or any activity that endangers minors.

1. Prohibited Automated or Spam Activities

Users may not engage in any of the following Activities:

1.1 Automated Posting or Bot Activity

  • Using bots to generate or post comments

  • Using scripts, crawlers, or browser automation to comment

  • Posting comments via automated tools or macros

  • Generating comments using unauthorized API calls

  • Using AI/autogenerated content designed to flood discussions

1.2 Scraping or Harvesting

  • Scraping comments

  • Harvesting names, emails, or profile information

  • Automated extraction of site data

  • Using tools to record comment feeds

1.3 Spam Content

  • Repetitive or duplicate posts

  • Promotional or commercial links

  • Advertisements, solicitations, or affiliate links

  • Scam links

  • Malware distribution or phishing attempts

  • Chain messages or mass-posting schemes

1.4 Manipulating Platform Behavior

  • Fake or artificial engagement

  • Flooding posts using multiple accounts

  • Attempting to bypass rate limits or safeguards

  • Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions

  • Using VPNs or anonymity networks to impersonate other users

1.5 Misuse for Fraud or Harm

  • Posting fake opportunities

  • Creating fake personas

  • Impersonating organizations or coaches

  • Attempting to socially engineer users

2. How Natty Hatty Detects Spam, Bots Abusive Automation

Natty Hatty uses a combination of:

✓ SSO authentication (no anonymous posting)

Only verified Natty Hatty users are permitted to post comments.

✓ Rate limiting at multiple layers

  • IP-level

  • Token-level

  • Device fingerprint–level

  • Behavioral anomaly detection

✓ Cloudflare Bot Management

Used to block:

  • Known bot signatures

  • Script-driven traffic

  • Automated posting patterns

  • Suspicious IP ranges

✓ Pattern recognition & rule-based detection

Including:

  • Repetitive or duplicate comments

  • Multiple comments posted within seconds

  • Link-injection attempts

  • Posts matching known spam patterns

✓ Manual moderator review

Applied for flagged cases or user-submitted reports.

Natty Hatty does not use AI/ML to process or train on user-generated comment content.

3. Enforcement Actions

Depending on severity, Natty Hatty may take one or more of the following actions against spam, bots, or abusive automation:

  • Remove comments

  • Temporarily restrict commenting access

  • Permanently disable commenting access

  • Suspend the linked Natty Hatty Customer App account

  • Block IP addresses or IP ranges

  • Block devices using fingerprinting

  • Revoke authentication tokens

  • Require re-authentication

  • Escalate to Trust Safety review

If the activity endangers minors or involves criminal misuse, Natty Hatty may:

  • Report the activity to law enforcement

  • Preserve relevant evidence

  • Block all platform access permanently

4. User Responsibility

Users agree to:

  • Post only manually created comments

  • Avoid posting links unless relevant and safe

  • Not use automation, scraping, or scripts

  • Immediately report suspicious activity

Violation of these rules may lead to suspension from commenting, or from the Natty Hatty ecosystem entirely.

5. Reporting Spam or Bot Activity

Users may report suspected spam or bot behavior by contacting:

include:

  • URL

  • Screenshot (optional)

  • Description of the issue

Reports involving minor safety are prioritized.

6. No Obligation to Notify or Explain

To protect users and prevent exploitation of detection strategies:

  • Natty Hatty may block or remove content without prior notice

  • Natty Hatty may silence or suspend accounts silently

  • Natty Hatty may decline to explain specific enforcement decisions

Security takes precedence over transparency.

7. Zero-Tolerance for Minor Safety Violations

If automated or spam activity targets minors in any way, Natty Hatty will:

  • Permanently banning the account

  • Block device/IP

  • Suspending access to all Natty Hatty products

  • Escalate to authorities if required

  • Notify relevant organizations (if appropriate)

There are no exceptions to this policy.

8. Updates to This Policy

Natty Hatty may update this Policy periodically.

The “Effective Date” will reflect the latest version.
