Natty Hatty does not evaluate, verify, or certify the qualifications or credentials of coaches, instructors, volunteers, or staff members who use the platform.

This Coaching Credentials Verification Disclaimer clarifies what Natty Hatty is not responsible for, and places full responsibility on Organizations for ensuring their staff meet legal, safety, and governing body requirements.

1. Natty Hatty Does Not Verify Coaching Credentials

Natty Hatty does not:

• Verify coaching licenses or certifications

• Validate CPR, First Aid, AED, or medical training

• Confirm SafeSport training or compliance

• Authenticate coaching IDs or badges

• Evaluate sports experience or skill level

• Confirm attendance at training courses

• Assess coaching qualifications or fitness

• Validate background-check clearance status

All credential verification must be handled exclusively by Organizations, not Natty Hatty.

2. No Endorsement or Approval of Coaches

Use of Natty Hatty by a coach or staff member does not imply:

• Endorsement

• Approval

• Qualification

• Skill level

• Compliance with safety protocols

• Authority to coach minors

• Good character or fitness

Natty Hatty does not certify or rank coaches. Organizations are solely responsible for evaluating their personnel.

3. Organization Responsibilities

Organizations must independently verify:

3.1 Identity

• Legal name

• Date of birth

• Role suitability

• Prior experience

3.2 Training & Certifications

• Coaching licenses (USSF, USA Baseball, USA Basketball, AAU, USATF, etc.)

• Governing body requirements

• League-required safety training

• CPR/AED certification (where applicable)

3.3 SafeSport & Abuse-Prevention Training

Organizations must confirm:

• SafeSport certification

• Abuse-prevention training

• Mandatory reporter requirements

• Annual or bi-annual renewals

3.4 Background Checks

Organizations must conduct:

• State-required background checks

• Sex offender registry checks

• FBI/DOJ fingerprinting (where required)

• Disqualification screening

Natty Hatty does not collect or store background-check documents.

4. No Responsibility for Accuracy of Coach-Provided Information

Natty Hatty does not verify the accuracy of information uploaded or submitted by coaches, including:

• Coaching history

• Professional experience

• Education

• Certifications or credentials

• Uploaded documents

• Safety training records

• Licenses or governing body clearances

Natty Hatty does not review, confirm, or validate user-submitted content.

5. No Responsibility for Coach Behavior or Conduct

Natty Hatty is not responsible for:

• Coach actions, decisions, or conduct

• Training methods or supervision

• Behavior at practices, games, or events

• Harassment, abuse, or misconduct

• Parent–coach disputes

• Disciplinary issues

• Safety violations

• Compliance with governing body rules

Organizations must manage all conduct issues internally.

6. No Guarantee of Legal or Sports Compliance

Natty Hatty does not guarantee that coaches comply with:

• State youth-sports laws

• SafeSport requirements

• League or governing body rules

• Mandatory training laws

• State certification rules

• Insurance or liability regulations

• First aid / emergency preparedness standards

Compliance is the sole responsibility of each Organization.

7. Organizations Must Not Misrepresent Coach Credentials

Organizations using Natty Hatty must ensure:

• No false or misleading credentials are displayed

• No unqualified individuals are labeled as coaches

• Only qualified individuals are assigned to minor athletes

• Certifications shown to parents are accurate

Misrepresentation may result in:

• Account suspension

• Removal of coaching privileges

• Termination of the Organization’s access

• Reporting to legal authorities in cases involving minors

Natty Hatty may act to protect minors, but assumes no verification duties.

8. Natty Hatty Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Natty Hatty is not liable for:

• Invalid, expired, falsified, or misleading coaching credentials

• Failure of Organizations to conduct proper screening

• Harm caused by unqualified or improperly trained coaches

• Misconduct or negligence of coaches or staff

• Noncompliance with youth-sports regulations

• Injuries, safety incidents, or abuse related to coach actions

Natty Hatty provides software as-is and does not supervise any in-person activities.

9. User Acknowledgment

By using Natty Hatty, all Organizations, coaches, and parents acknowledge that:

• Natty Hatty does not verify coaching credentials

• Organizations are fully responsible for approving and supervising staff

• Parents should rely on the Organization—not Natty Hatty—for coach evaluation

• Coach certifications displayed in Natty Hatty are self-reported and unverified
