Natty Hatty — Taxes & Fees Disclosure (Organizations & Service Providers)

This Taxes & Fees Disclosure explains how taxes, payment processing fees, and platform fees operate for facilities, academies, leagues, teams, coaches, trainers, and all other service providers (“Organizations”) using Natty Hatty.
Natty Hatty is committed to providing full fee and tax transparency.
1. Taxes
1.1 Organization Responsible for All Taxes
Organizations are solely responsible for:
Determining whether services are taxable
Setting correct tax rates in Natty Hatty
Communicating taxes to end users
Reporting and remitting taxes to authorities
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
Natty Hatty does not calculate, determine, or remit taxes on your behalf.
1.2 Tax Display
Taxes configured by the Organization:
Are shown during checkout
Are included in the final order summary before payment
2. Fees
Organizations may incur the following fees:
2.1 Stripe Processing Fees
These include:
Credit/debit card transaction fees
ACH fees
Dispute fees ($15 per chargeback)
Deducted automatically from payouts.
2.2 Natty Hatty Platform Fees
Applied to all transactions:
Deducted from payouts
Also incorporated into fees charged to end users where applicable
2.3 Convenience Fees
Convenience fees apply based on use of Natty Hatty Signature.
Seamless Checkout (Customer App + Signature)
One convenience fee per applicable waiver validity period.
Signature Used Outside the Customer App
Convenience fee per transaction.
2.4 Subscription Fees
Optional subscription products (Business Center, Signature):
Billed monthly or yearly
Non-refundable
Access continues until the end of the paid period
2.5 Refund-Related Fees
If the Organization refunds a payment:
Stripe fees may not return
Platform fees are not refunded
If choosing to refund those fees to the end user, Natty Hatty charges:
Stripe fee
Platform fee
1% administrative fee (min $1)
2.6 Chargeback Fees
If a chargeback occurs:
Stripe charges $15
Natty Hatty charges $15
The Organization must provide evidence to Stripe
3. High-Refund Collateral Rule
If refunds exceed $1500 within 7 days:
Stripe may hold funds
Natty Hatty may withdraw equivalent collateral
Collateral is held until Stripe’s review is complete
4. Authorization for Charging Cards on File
Charging a saved payment method requires explicit authorization.
Unauthorized charges result in:
$500 misuse penalty
Mandatory reimbursement of all fees (Stripe + Platform + Admin fee)
Possible suspension or termination of service
