Natty Hatty Customer App — Payment Method Sharing Policy
Version: v1.0
Effective Date: November 15, 2025
This Payment Method Sharing Policy (“Policy”) explains how payment methods saved to the Natty Hatty Customer App (“Customer App”) are shared and used when:
Customers add a payment method to their Natty Hatty Wallet;
Customers subscribe to services offered by Organizations on Natty Hatty.
This Policy applies to all Users, Parents/Guardians, Family Members, and Organizations using the Natty Hatty Customer App.
Natty Hatty does not store card numbers. All sensitive card information is tokenized and securely handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1).
1. Definitions
“Payment Method on File”: A saved, tokenized card or bank account stored securely via Stripe.
“User”: Any person with a Natty Hatty Customer App account.
“Family Group”: A set of Users connected within the Customer App as a household.
“Organization”: A club, facility, team, or service provider offering paid programs through Natty Hatty.
“Subscription”: A recurring payment plan between a User and an Organization.
2. How Payment Method Sharing Works
Natty Hatty supports two forms of payment method sharing:
(1) Automatic Sharing with Family Members
(2) Automatic Sharing with Organizations for Active Subscriptions
Each is governed separately (details below).
3. Family Sharing — Automatic and User-Controlled
3.1 Automatic Sharing With Family Members
When a User adds a payment method to their Natty Hatty Wallet:
That payment method is automatically shared with all members of their Family Group.
Family members may use the shared card to pay for programs, events, tryouts, memberships, or other activities on Natty Hatty.
No card numbers are ever visible.
All charges occur through Stripe’s secure tokenization.
3.2 User Controls — Ability to Adjust Sharing
After adding a payment method, the User can:
Remove specific family members that should not have access
Restrict access at any time
Choose to keep the payment method private
These controls are found under:
Customer App → Wallet → Manage Sharing
Changes take effect immediately and do not impact past transactions.
4. Organization Sharing — Required for Active Subscriptions
When a User subscribes to an Organization’s service (such as a membership, training plan, recurring tuition, or monthly program):
4.1 Automatic Sharing With the Service Provider
The User’s payment method on file is:
Automatically shared with the Organization
Stored (as a Stripe token) strictly for subscription billing
Not visible to the Organization in any form
This sharing is required to maintain the subscription.
4.2 Restrictions on Revoking Access
While a subscription is active, the User:
❌ Cannot revoke the Organization’s access to the payment method
❌ Cannot remove the payment method if it is tied to an active subscription
❌ Cannot switch cards without updating the subscription first
This protects recurring billing requirements and ensures uninterrupted service.
4.3 How to Revoke Access
To revoke an Organization’s access to a payment method on file:
Cancel the active subscription with that Organization
Wait for the cancellation to take effect
Go to Wallet and either:
Replace the payment method, or
Remove the Organization’s access manually
Until the subscription ends, the Organization retains billing authorization.
5. Security & Privacy of Payment Methods
Natty Hatty maintains strong security protections:
Natty Hatty does not store or handle full card numbers
All sensitive payment details are processed via Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1)
Organizations only receive a billing token, not card details
Family members also receive only the ability to charge, not view details
Payment method access is strictly limited to:
✔ Authorized Family Members
✔ Organizations with Active Subscriptions
✔ Stripe (for payment processing only)
Natty Hatty never sells or shares payment data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
6. Unauthorized Use & User Responsibility
Users are responsible for:
Reviewing which family members have access
Understanding which subscriptions authorize recurring billing
Maintaining accurate billing information
Immediately reporting unauthorized or fraudulent charges
Suspicious activity can be reported to: support@nattyhatty.com
7. Removing a Payment Method
A User may remove a payment method only if:
It is not tied to an active subscription
No pending charges exist
No ongoing payment attempts are scheduled
If tied to a subscription:
The subscription must be cancelled first
A new card can then be added or reassigned
8. Disputes
Any disputes involving:
Unauthorized family charges
Subscription charges
Billing disagreements
Fraudulent activity
Must be handled according to:
✔ Natty Hatty Payments Policy
✔ The Organization’s Refund Policy
✔ Stripe’s Dispute Resolution Process
Natty Hatty cannot override Stripe’s decisions on disputes.
9. Changes to This Policy
Natty Hatty may update this Payment Method Sharing Policy periodically. The latest version will show the updated Effective Date.
