Natty Hatty — Payments Policy & Payment Terms

Effective Date: November 15, 2025
This Payments Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments made through the Natty Hatty platform (“Platform”), including registrations, bookings, tryouts, events, memberships, camps, clinics, leagues, tournaments, waivers, and all other payment-based services offered by facilities, organizations, teams, or operators (“Organizations”).
By using Natty Hatty, Organizations and Users agree to these Payment Terms.
Natty Hatty partners with Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider, to process all card and ACH payments. Natty Hatty does not store or handle sensitive card data.
1. Stripe Relationship
Natty Hatty uses Stripe for:
Credit/debit card payments
ACH payments
Payouts
PCI-DSS compliance
Identity & banking verification (KYC)
Organizations must complete Stripe onboarding before accepting payments.
Natty Hatty integrates Stripe onboarding directly into the Organization onboarding flow for convenience and compliance.
2. Fees & Disclosures
Natty Hatty charges three categories of fees.
2.1 Platform Fees (per transaction)
For any transaction processed on Natty Hatty:
Natty Hatty charges Platform Fees.
The Organization receiving the payout is responsible for:
Natty Hatty Platform Fees
Stripe processing fees
Any applicable ACH, dispute, or bank fees
These fees are deducted from payouts automatically.
However, they are also automatically incorporated into the applicable fees charged to end users for the Organization’s convenience.
2.2 Subscription Fees (Platform, Business Center, Signature)
Natty Hatty offers optional monthly or yearly subscriptions.
Subscription fees are non-refundable, even if the Organization cancels early or stops using the platform.
Access remains active until the end of the paid billing period.
Renewal occurs only if the Organization chooses to continue.
Special Case — Business Center Subscription Cancellation
If canceled:
Access may extend beyond the subscription end if the Organization still has active events scheduled.
To stop access exactly at the subscription end date, all events must be removed from the calendar beforehand.
2.3 Convenience Fee Structure
2.3.1 Seamless Checkout (Customer Platform + Signature Together)
If Natty Hatty Customer App and Natty Hatty Signature are used in one continuous checkout flow:
A single convenience fee may be charged once per applicable document validity period (e.g., annual or seasonal waiver).
2.3.2 Signature Used Outside the Customer Platform
If payments are made outside Natty Hatty but Signature is used:
A convenience fee is charged per transaction.
3. Refund Rules
Refunds are controlled by the Organization. Natty Hatty does not decide eligibility.
3.1 Organization Refund Obligations
Organizations must:
Provide refund policies clearly
Communicate them to end users
Process refunds through Natty Hatty’s dashboard
Follow consumer protection laws
3.2 No Refund Guarantee by Natty Hatty
Natty Hatty does not:
Issue refunds
Force Organizations to refund
Mediate refund disputes
3.3 Refund Method
Refunds go to the original payment method
Based on Stripe’s settlement timelines
3.4 Additional Refund Fee Rules
If an Organization chooses to refund:
Stripe processing fees and
Natty Hatty Platform Fees
➡️ The Organization will be charged:
The refunded balance amount
Stripe processing fee
A 1% administrative fee on the refunded amount — minimum $1, maximum scaled to the amount refunded
3.5 Refund Collateral Rule
If refunds exceed $1500 within 7 days:
Stripe will hold funds
Natty Hatty will debit the Organization’s connected bank account
Natty Hatty will hold that amount as collateral until Stripe completes its review
4. ACH Payments
ACH clears in 3–5 business days
Organizations must wait for settlement
Failed ACH payments may incur fees
Natty Hatty is not responsible for bank return fees
5. Chargebacks & Disputes
5.1 User Disputes
If a User disputes a payment:
Stripe freezes the disputed amount
Stripe charges a $15 dispute fee
Natty Hatty also charges $15 per dispute
Organizations must provide supporting evidence
Stripe decides the outcome
Natty Hatty cannot override Stripe determinations.
5.2 Organization Responsibilities
Organizations must:
Maintain accurate documentation
Respond promptly
Accept liability for unauthorized or insufficiently documented charges
5.3 Natty Hatty Liability
Natty Hatty is not liable for:
Chargebacks
Fraud
Bank reversals
Losses due to unauthorized use
6. Payment Authorization & Charging Cards on File
Users authorize:
Charges displayed
Recurring payments
Platform Fees
Secure token storage via Stripe
6.1 Misuse of Card on File — Strict Penalty
Charging a saved payment method without proper customer authorization results in:
$500 misuse penalty
Mandatory full reimbursement to the User:
Stripe processing fee
Natty Hatty Platform Fees
1% convenience fee
Natty Hatty may cancel the Organization’s subscription
Natty Hatty may terminate all services immediately
Zero tolerance.
6.2 Do Not Sell / Share & GPC
Natty Hatty honors:
Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals
Do Not Sell/Share requests
as valid opt-outs under applicable privacy laws (e.g., CPRA).
This applies to any personal information processed within payment and checkout flows.
7. Installments & Memberships
Organizations may offer installment plans.
Users authorize recurring charges
Stripe retries failed payments
Organizations may pause access
8. Payouts to Organizations
Payouts go to the Organization’s connected Stripe account
Timing: 2–7 business days
Holds: Based on Stripe’s risk controls
Negative balances: Stripe may debit the Organization’s bank account
Natty Hatty cannot override Stripe holds.
9. Wallets, Credits & Stored Value
Natty Hatty does not operate a wallet at this time.
Future functionality will be reflected in this section.
10. Errors & Processing Failures
Organizations must report:
Duplicate charges
Fee misapplications
Outage-related failures
Natty Hatty investigates using audit logs, Stripe events, and device/IP signatures.
11. Fraud Prevention
Natty Hatty uses:
Device fingerprinting
IP checks
Audit logs
Signature verification
Natty Hatty may restrict or pause transactions.
Organizations remain financially liable for fraudulent transactions.
12. Taxes
Organizations must configure, collect, report, and remit taxes independently.
Natty Hatty does not remit taxes on behalf of Organizations.
13. Data Security & Compliance
All transactions comply with:
TLS 1.2+ encryption
AES-256 data-at-rest encryption
PCI-DSS Level 1 (via Stripe)
ESIGN / UETA / eIDAS
COPPA
CPRA
Audit logs and signature histories are immutable.
14. Policy Updates
Natty Hatty may update this Policy periodically.
A new Effective Date will appear when updates occur.

Prohibited Use
Organizations may not use Natty Hatty to collect payments for:
Gambling or games of chance
Adult content
Weapons or explosives
CBD, cannabis, hemp, or regulated substances
Any product or service illegal under U.S. federal law
Any activity prohibited by Stripe policies
Natty Hatty may immediately suspend or terminate services for violations.

The following sections survive termination indefinitely:
