Natty Hatty, Inc. (“Natty Hatty,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects Organizations and users to do the same.
This DMCA Policy outlines how copyright owners may report alleged infringements occurring on public-facing Natty Hatty website pages, including:
Public program registration pages
Public waiver/signature pages
Public checkout pages
Organization-created pages hosted on nattyhatty.com
Natty Hatty complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. §512.
1. Natty Hatty’s Status as a Registered DMCA Service Provider
Natty Hatty is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as a Service Provider under 17 U.S.C. §512.
This registration provides safe-harbor protections and defines our obligations when handling infringement complaints.
2. What Content This Policy Covers
This DMCA Policy covers copyright violations involving:
Organization logos
Team photos
Participant images
Text or descriptions uploaded by Organizations
Flyers, PDFs, or program materials uploaded or linked
Registration content displayed publicly
Any copyrighted content shown on nattyhatty.com
It does not cover internal platform content behind authentication (a separate policy can be created).
3. Copyright Owners: How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on nattyhatty.com infringes your copyright, send aformal DMCA Notice to our Designated Agent.
Your notice must include the following (per 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
Identification of the infringing material and its exact URL on nattyhatty.com.
Contact information of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
A statement:
“I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
A statement under penalty of perjury:
“The information in this notice is accurate, and I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.”
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.

4. What Happens After Natty Hatty Receives a DMCA Notice
Upon receiving a valid DMCA Notice:
Natty Hatty will acknowledge receipt.
We will temporarily remove, disable, or restrict access to the allegedly infringing content.
We will notify the Organization or user who posted the material.
The individual may then submit a Counter-Notice if they believe the takedown was incorrect.
Natty Hatty may restore the content if a valid Counter-Notice is received and the copyright owner does not file an action within 10–14 business days.
Natty Hatty does not act as a judge or arbitrator; we simply follow the DMCA’s required procedures.
5. How to Submit a Counter-Notice (If Your Content Was Removed)
If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notice.
Your Counter-Notice must include:
The URL of the content that was removed.
Your name, address, phone number, and email.
A statement under penalty of perjury:
“I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.”
Your consent to U.S. federal court jurisdiction.
A physical or electronic signature.
Send Counter-Notices to:
Once received:
Natty Hatty will review it
We will forward it to the original complainant
If the complainant does not seek a court injunction, Natty Hatty may restore the content
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
Natty Hatty may:
Suspend
Limit
Or permanently disable
the ability of any Organization or user who repeatedly uploads infringing content.
We reserve the right to act at our discretion.
7. No Legal Advice Provided
Natty Hatty:
Does not review content for legal sufficiency
Does not determine copyright ownership disputes
Does not provide legal advice to any party
Organizations must ensure they have rights to the content they upload.
8. Organizations’ Responsibilities
Organizations hosting public pages through Natty Hatty must:
Ensure they have legal rights to all uploaded content
Use only images or materials they own or have licensed
Respect photographer, videographer, or designer copyrights
Remove infringing content when notified
Respond promptly to DMCA-related communications
Organizations are solely responsible for the content they publish.
9. No Liability for User or Organization Content
Natty Hatty is a hosting provider.
We are not liable for:
Organization-uploaded materials
User-generated content
Misuse of copyrighted works
Errors in Organization page setup
Unauthorized use of third-party images
We remove content only upon receipt of a valid DMCA Notice.
