Last Updated: November 15, 2025
Version: v1.0
Natty Hatty, Inc. (“Natty Hatty,” “we,” “our,” “us”) provides digital signature tools that allow Organizations to collect legally binding electronic signatures (“E-Signatures”) on waivers, releases, policies, agreements, forms, and other documents through Natty Hatty–hosted public pages.
This E-Sign Legal Validity Statement describes how electronic signatures collected on our website are legally recognized and enforced.
1. E-Signatures Collected Through Natty Hatty Are Legally Binding
Electronic signatures collected through Natty Hatty are legally valid under:
U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act)
U.S. Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA)
EU eIDAS Regulation (for international recognition, where applicable)
These laws confirm that electronic signatures:
Have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures
Are binding and enforceable in court
Cannot be denied solely because they are in digital form
2. Requirements for Digital Signature Validity
Natty Hatty satisfies the core requirements of ESIGN, UETA, and eIDAS:

Users consciously click or tap to sign.
Affirmative Consent
Users confirm they agree to sign electronically.

Natty Hatty uses digital evidence including:

Every signature generates a tamper-evident audit log.

Signed documents are hashed and locked to prevent modification.
3. How Natty Hatty Generates Legally Compliant Audit Trails
For every signature, Natty Hatty automatically records:
Signer’s name (as entered)
Email address (if provided by the Organization)
IP address
Device type and browser metadata
Date and timestamp
Document version ID
Signature method (typed, drawn, checkbox, or flow-based)
Hash confirmation for integrity

These logs help ensure document authenticity and non-repudiation.

Natty Hatty:
Does not draft legal documents
Does not provide legal advice
Does not verify document content
Does not interpret agreements
Is not a party to any signed document
All document content is created and owned by the Organization.

6. Signatures Remain Valid After Refunds, Edits, or Program Changes
Once a document is signed:
It remains legally binding
It cannot be removed, revoked, or rendered invalid
Refunds do not cancel or reverse signatures
Modifications require issuing a new document
Organizations cannot retroactively alter a signed copy
The original signed version is preserved permanently and immutably.
7. Delivery of Signed Documents
After signing, Natty Hatty:
Provides a confirmation page
May email a receipt or confirmation (depending on Organization settings)
Stores the signed document securely
Provides Organizations with full access to signed documents and their audit trails
Natty Hatty does not prevent Organizations from downloading or storing their own copies.
