1. What Counts as User-Generated Content (UGC)

User-Generated Content (“UGC”) includes, but is not limited to:

• Team, club, or facility names

• Program descriptions

• Photos, videos, and promotional materials

• Logos, graphics, and branding assets

• Flyers or PDFs

• Waivers, policies, and agreements created by Organizations

• Text entered into forms or public fields

• Athlete information submitted by parents or guardians

• Coach or staff information provided by Organizations

User-Generated Content does not include:

• Natty Hatty’s branding, designs, or website code

• Natty Hatty’s own policies or legal documents

• Signature audit trails (covered separately)

2. Your Rights — You Keep Ownership of Your Content

Organizations and users retain full ownership of the content they create or upload.

Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership to Natty Hatty.

3. License You Grant Natty Hatty

By submitting or publishing User-Generated Content (“UGC”) on the Natty Hatty website, you grant Natty Hatty alimited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Host

• Display

• Transmit

• Process

• Reproduce (as necessary for platform function)

• Store

• Secure

• Make available to end users

• Generate thumbnails or compressed versions

• Provide to the Organization associated with the content

This license is solely for the purpose of:

• Operating the website

• Processing registrations and payments

• Displaying public program pages

• Delivering signature flows

• Facilitating communications

• Maintaining secure audit trails

• Complying with legal and safety obligations

Natty Hatty does not use UGC for marketing or advertising unless you give explicit written permission.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, publish, or submit UGC that:

• Violates any third-party copyright or trademark

• Contains personally identifiable minor data beyond what the form requests

• Contains harassment, abuse, hate speech, or illegal content

• Promotes gambling, weapons, adult content, or prohibited activities

• Includes malware, bots, scripts, or harmful code

• Violates youth-safety or child-protection laws

• Includes biometric or sensitive health data without lawful basis

• Violates privacy, publicity rights, or confidentiality

Natty Hatty maintains a zero-tolerance policy for content that endangers minors.

5. Responsibilities of Organizations

Organizations agree and warrant that:

• They own or have rights to all content they upload

• They have parental or guardian authority for any minor data submitted

• They will not upload copyrighted materials without permission

• They will comply with COPPA, DMCA, CPRA, and youth-safety laws

• They will respond promptly to takedown requests

• They will review content to ensure it is lawful, accurate, and appropriate

• They will not upload personal data beyond what is necessary for program registration

Organizations are solely responsible for UGC they publish on the Natty Hatty website.

6. No UGC Monitoring Guarantee

Natty Hatty:

• Does not pre-screen User-Generated Content (“UGC”)

• Does not review waivers, documents, or program pages for legal accuracy

• Does not verify Organization-submitted content

• Does not act as a publisher or editor

We are a technical hosting provider.

However, we reserve the right to remove UGC that:

• Violates this policy

• Is subject to a valid DMCA notice

• Endangers minors

• Violates law

• Causes security or fraud concerns

7. Removal of Content

Natty Hatty may remove or disable access to User-Generated Content (“UGC”) when:

• Required by DMCA (copyright infringement)

• Required by law or court order

• In response to abuse or fraud reports

• The Organization requests removal

• Minors’ safety is at risk

• It violates the Natty Hatty Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) or Terms

Natty Hatty may also disable access to the Organization’s pages if violations are repeated.

8. Copyright Protections & DMCA Compliance

If you believe content on the Natty Hatty website infringes your copyright:

• Natty Hatty follows all requirements of 17 U.S.C. §512

• We accept and process DMCA notices

• We notify the Organization who posted the infringing content

• We follow Counter-Notice restoration rules

Natty Hatty is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as a Service Provider under 17 U.S.C. §512.

9. No Transfer of Rights

Nothing in this license:

• Transfers ownership to Natty Hatty

• Grants Natty Hatty the right to sell your content

• Allows Natty Hatty to use your UGC in advertising without permission

• Provides third parties with rights to your content

Your content remains yours.

10. Termination of License

The license you grant ends when:

• Your content is deleted from nattyhatty.com

• Your Organization removes the content

• Natty Hatty removes it for policy or safety reasons

However, signed documents, audit logs, and legally required records remain stored according to the:

• Document Retention Policy

• Audit Trail Policy

• E-Sign Validity Policy

These records cannot be deleted simply because the license ends.
